Commission a Custom Painting
If you love my artwork but don’t quite see the size, colors, or subject you’re looking for, a commission may be the perfect choice. There’s something truly special about owning an original painting—especially one you’ve helped bring to life.
The Process
Step 1: Getting Started
Begin by filling out the no-obligation form below. This gives me enough information to start shaping your vision. If you’re unsure about sizing, I’ll happily suggest options. We’ll then have a phone call to discuss your ideas in detail. After confirming a size and scope, I’ll provide you with an official quote and invoice, which will also include your start date and estimated completion/shipping date.
Step 2: Planning Your Painting
Once a 50% deposit is made, the creative process begins. You’ll send me reference photos, inspiration, and examples of my work that resonate with you. Using these, I’ll create a sketch to capture your vision. Revisions can be made until you’re completely satisfied. (Please note: I cannot replicate another artist’s work due to copyright law.)
Step 3: Bringing It to Life
When I begin painting, you’ll have the option to receive progress photos and updates—or you can choose to be surprised with the final reveal. After finishing, I’ll send you photos and videos for approval. Once approved, the remaining 50% is due. Your piece will then be carefully prepared and shipped after a 1–2 week curing period.
Timing
Commissions typically take 4–6 weeks to complete, depending on size and subject matter. Start dates vary depending on my current schedule. I’ll do my best to accommodate deadlines, but I can’t guarantee delivery sooner than six weeks.
Pricing Examples
Final pricing is based on size, detail, and complexity, but here are sample starting prices:
- 8" x 10" – $450
- 11" x 14" – $650
- 12" x 16" – $900
- 16" x 20" – $1,400
- 18" x 24" – $1,900
- 20" x 24" – $2,200
- 24" x 24" – $2,600

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
